Two men have been arrested after a disturbance in Warrington left an 18-year-old woman with serious facial injuries.
Cheshire Police said on Monday at around 6.20pm they were informed of two people turning up at hospital following a disturbance.
The incident reportedly happened in Portland Road, Warrington, reports CheshireLive.
A 19-year-old man sustained a minor puncture wound to his hand while a woman sustained serious injuries to her face.
Two men have been arrested in connection with the incident.
A 25-year-old man from Urmston has been arrested on suspicion of Section 18 assault. He remains in police custody assisting officers with their enquiries.
And a 19-year-old man from Runcorn who was arrested on suspicion of assault has been released on conditional bail.
