Two men arrested after teenager allegedly raped in Glasgow home

Police have arrested two men after the alleged rape of a teenager in Glasgow at the weekend.

Officers from Police Scotland probed reports of the alleged serious sexual assault on Saturday afternoon, August 22, in the Castlemilk area of the city.

The 17-year-old was allegedly attacked at a home on Downcraig Drive at around 3.20pm.

Two men, aged 19 and 21, have been arrested in connection with the incident.

The pair have been released pending more enquires.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "A report was received shortly after 3.20pm on Saturday, 22 August of a serious sexual assault on a 17-year-old female at a property on Downcraig Drive in Glasgow.

"Two men, aged 19 and 21, were arrested in connection with the incident and released pending further enquiries."
