Two men arrested after separate drug den raids uncover half a million Euro worth of cannabis

Two men were arrested after separate drug den raids on Dublin's Northside uncovered cannabis worth nearly half a million Euro.

Officers attached to the North Central Divisional Drug Unit stormed a home in Santry at 5:30pm on Monday evening under warrant where they found a whopping €328,000 worth of cannabis, as well as €12,400 in cash.

Four mobile phones and drug paraphernalia were also seized, Gardai say.

The man in his 20s was arrested and brought to Bridewell. Garda Station.

Gardai also arrested a man after discovering an equally eye-watering stash of cannabis worth €160,000 at a Ballymun home.

The arrest came on Monday afternoon following the raid of the residence carried out by gardaí from the Ballymun Drugs Unit.

Some 9kgs of suspected cannabis herb was seized and will be sent for analysis.

The man arrested was brought to Ballymun Garda Station.
