Two men have been arrested after a large scale disturbance outside a mosque in Glasgow .
Officers from Police Scotland were called to the incident outside the Masjid-E-Khazra mosque on Butterbiggins Road at around 1.15pm on Friday afternoon.
As a result a man was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital after the brawl broke out.
Following the incident two men, a 33 and 34-year-old, were cuffed and charged.
The pair are set to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court tomorrow.
Cops set up a large cordon around the area while enquiries were ongoing into the circumstances that led to the incident.
A spokesperson from Police Scotland: "Two men have been arrested and charged following a large scale disturbance on Butterbiggins Road around 1.15pm on Fri 30 Aug 2019.
"Both men, aged 33 and 34, are due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Mon. Inquiries are ongoing."
