Two men have been arrested following a brawl in Durham city centre.
Officers were called to Silver Street after reports of a 'disturbance involving a number of men'.
A spokesman for Durham Constabulary said one man suffered minor head injuries.
He added: "Durham Constabulary was called to Silver Street in Durham city centre shortly after 6.10pm on Tuesday following reports of a disturbance involving a number of men.
"Two men were arrested on suspicion of assault.
"One man suffered minor head injuries during the incident and received treatment in hospital."
It comes after an anti-social behaviour conference was held last year following numerous reports of problems in the city centre.
An action plan was launched in bid to tackle the issue that included increasing the number of community police officers.
