Two men arrested after coffee machine stolen from café in Stockport

Two men have been arrested after a coffee machine was stolen from a café in Stockport.

Police were called to reports of a burglary at a coffee shop in Heaton Moor.

A blue car made off from the scene before officers arrived to the scene.

Police, alongside firearms officers, found the suspected vehicle and 'boxed' it in. Two men were later arrested on suspicion of burglarly.

The coffee machine was recovered and is being returned to the owner.

Greater Manchester Police's Heaton and Reddish team shared an image of the suspected vehicle on Facebook.

A statement said: "Officers responded to burglary reported in Heaton Moor at a coffee shop, on arrival a blue car has made off from the location.

"Divisional patrols assisted by firearms locate vehicle and box the car in.

"Two males detained and arrested. Coffee machine recovered to be be returned to owner."
