Two men have appeared in court in private in connection to a historic attempted murder in Rutherglen.
Thomas Guthrie and Darren Owen both appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, with a third man connected to the alleged incident expected to appear in court today.
Mr Guthrie, of Kilmarnock, made no plea or declaration in relation to a charge of attempted murder.
The 26-year-old was remanded in custody ahead of his next hearing.
Twenty-one-year0old Mr Owen also made no plea or declaration in relation to the same charge.
From Glasgow, he was also remanded in custody with both due to appear back in front of the judge within eight days.
The men are alleged to have been involved in an incident to off the notorious Scott Bennett in a car park at Taylors Veterinary Practice in Rutherglen.
