Mr Lutkevitch, also of no fixed abode, has been charged with possession of a firearm, namely a sawn off shotgun, possession of prohibited ammunition, namely a grenade and possession with intent to supply cannabis.

No pleas have been entered at this stage.

Both men have been charged after the police executed warrants at six addresses across Rochdale and Heywood yesterday (July 2) at 6.30am.

There was no application for bail in either case.

They have now been remanded into custody and will next appear at Minshull Street Crown Court for a preliminary hearing on July 31.
