Two Man City players spotted in away end for Carabao Cup clash vs Manchester United

Manchester City defenders Oleksandr Zinchenko and Taylor Harwood-Bellis have been pictured in the away stand for the Carabao Cup semi-final against Manchester United at Old Trafford.

The pair both played the entirety of City's 4-1 victory against Port Vale in the FA Cup third round on Saturday and were among six changes made by Pep Guardiola for the Manchester derby.

Haywood-Bellis scored his first goal for City during that clash and, after the match, vowed to be at the Carabao Cup semi-final no matter what - but it was always unlikely that he would make the matchday squad.

“I’ll wait to see what happens. If I’m not in the squad, I’ll be in the stand. I will be there either way," he said to reporters following the FA Cup win.

The teenager stuck to his promise for the trip to Old Trafford as a picture of Harwood-Bellis in the City end circulated on social media ahead of the match.

He was not alone though as Zinchenko, who also scored in the victory at the weekend, was pictured in the away head - sporting a Manchester City beanie.

City are looking to inflict revenge on United following victory for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side in the last meeting in the Premier League earlier this season.
