Two Man City fixtures in Premier League rearranged for TV schedule

Two of Manchester City's first three Premier League fixtures will have their kick-off times switched to accommodate television broadcasts.

The reigning champions will kick off the league season at White Hart Lane, and that game has been taken by Sky Sports for their prime Sunday afternoon slot, kicking off at 4.30pm on August 15.

As well as being the biggest game of the day, there is the added intrigue of City 's pursuit of star Spurs striker Harry Kane - there is even the prospect that the game could mark Kane's league debut for the Blues, if their transfer plans come off this summer.

Kane has made it plain that he wants to leave Tottenham, and City are his preferred destination.

The Blues will take on Norwich the following weekend, in their first home game of the season. There are hopes that fans may be allowed back in increased numbers, and if so they will get the chance of witnessing a rare occasion - a three o'clock kick off on a Saturday, with no TV coverage planned.

But the following week's home clash with Arsenal has been added to BT Sport's schedule, and will be switched to a 12.30pm kick off on Saturday, Auguast 28.
