Merseyside Police last night (October 26) called a successful operation an "excellent example of stopping criminality" after two males were arrested in Kirkby.
Mobile patrols stop-checked a vehicle before midnight and the car was searched by officers and a quantity of cash recovered.
Officers later tweeted: "Excellent stop check and arrest by officers.
"Patrols stop a vehicle in the Kirkby area. Vehicle searched and a large quantity of cash recovered. Two males arrested.
"Excellent example of stopping criminality by policing the streets of Knowsley."
