A major road crash caused chaos on the A75 in Dumfries and Galloway on Tuesday.
The smash happened at around midday when two HGVs collided on the eastbound carriageway close to the village of Haugh of Urr.
Both lorry drivers avoided serious injury in the crash, according to police .
Emergency services quickly rushed to the scene to deal with the accident and the eastbound side of the road was closed for just over an hour.
The closure caused severe tailbacks but traffic flow later returned to normal after the road reopened.
