Two Liverpool women charged after heroin seized by police

Two Liverpool women have been charged with after police found packages of heroin during a raid on the Isle of Man.

Jaine Elizabeth Beech, 39, of Hahnemann Road, Liverpool and Tracy Solan, 45, of Andrews Street, Liverpool, have both been charged with producing (importing) a Class A drug and unlawfully supplying.

The charges follow a police raid in the Douglas area of the Isle of Man on January 16.

Isle of Man Constabulary confirmed the drug charges to the ECHO.

The two women appeared in Douglas courthouse on January 22, alongside John Slater, 31.

Slater faces the same charges. 

Local website Three.fm covered the hearing and reported that police raided Slater's home in Ashley Park on January 16.

One package contained 154 grammes of heroin.

No pleas were entered. The three defendants were remanded in custody and will appear back in court tomorrow ( February 4)
