Two Liverpool bars have been named among the UK’s top 40 cocktail bars for 2019.
GoHen shared its yearly rundown of the best , judging venues on the quality of their cocktails, atmosphere, service and all-round experience.
Dockleaf in the Baltic Triangle and Santa Chupitos on Slater Street feature in the list as some of the best cocktails in the North West.
On Dockleaf, GoHen said: “When life stings you like the big proverbial stinging nettle that it is, Dockleaf provides that much-needed comfort to soothe those aches and pains.
“This urban cocktail joint has a relaxed, chilled out atmosphere and boasts an ever-changing range of cocktails to keep things interesting and we love it. We’d move in if we could but, apparently, that just isn’t feasible.”
GoHen added: “We were sold at ‘cocktail emporium’! Santa Chupitos is the gift that keeps on giving (Santa, gifts?! Get it?! Funny, right?).
“These guys never stand still; they’re always on the hunt for that next incredible flavour combo that will dazzle your taste buds and send your worries flying out the door.
“With classics and seasonal concoctions, they’re revolutionising the cocktail game forever.”
