A two-legged dog who doesn’t know what it is like to be loved is desperately searching for a home.
Lalia, a mixed-breed dog, has been living on the streets of Cario unable to use her back legs.
One of her legs was so badly damaged that it had to be amputated, while the other still hangs lifelessly on her body.
It is unknown how long Lalia has been living like this - but Miracle's Mission has stepped up to transform her life.
The animal welfare organisation, who work with sick, injured and disabled animals worldwide, wants to rehome Lalia in the UK - and already have a flight booked for her.
However, as she has received no online interest from any potential owners, her spot on the plane might remain empty at take off.
A statement on Twitter reads: “Laila will miss her flight if we don't find a suitable foster this week.
“She cannot thrive in a shelter environment - she really needs a home.”
Lalia is currently being fostered in Egypt - but is ready to travel as soon as a new owner comes forward.
A statement reads: “Laila is a sweet girl who gets around and will likely benefit from a set of wheels to aid her mobility on walks.
“Laila is good with other dogs. She would rather not live with children or cats.
“Shelter life is particularly difficult for dogs like Laila with disabilities, so we really would like for her to travel as soon as possible.
“She is incontinent and will require bladder expression three or four times a day. This is easy to do and we offer full training in this to all prospective foster and forever families.”
Miracle’s Mission is a UK registered animal welfare charity who work predominantly in the UK, Borneo and Egypt.
Founded by Victoria Bryceson in 2015, they aim to provide safety and support to animals in need worldwide.
A statement reads: “Our mission is to provide a place of safety for animals in danger, to educate on the needs of neutering both pets and strays and to neuter stray dogs and cats to prevent the birth of more animals onto the streets.
"We also rehabilitate and rehome dogs in need, often with disabilities, from our UK rescue base.”
