Leeds United duo Luke Ayling and Patrick Bamford have both been named in the BBC's Premier League team of the week following the 3-0 victory over Aston Villa.
The Whites stormed to victory on Friday evening, with Bamford netting a hat-trick and Ayling playing a key role at the other end of the field with his defensive interventions.
As a result, Leeds sit fifth in the Premier League standings at this early stage of the season and continue to earn a wealth of plaudits.
Bamford and Ayling's stand-out displays have now been recognised by BBC pundit Garth Crooks, who selected the pair as part of his team of the week column.
On Ayling, he identified the importance of the skipper's goal-line clearance and went on to discuss the continued absence of Leeds fans at home and on the road.
"The clearance off the line by Ayling from Jack Grealish's shot at arguably the most crucial time in the match against Aston Villa was absolutely brilliant," he wrote.
"The Leeds captain's instincts took him to the area where he knew his goalkeeper was exposed. It was exceptional defending.
"Leeds are fifth in the table with 10 points and look like a team that can survive in the Premier League as long as they don't run out of gas.
"It is a real shame that Leeds United fans are not permitted to follow their team around the country singing their anthem. Their team will need that inspiration in the second half of the season, especially during their run-in."
Regarding Bamford, he admitted he has been forced to re-address his initial assessment on the player he initially saw as a youngster at Chelsea.
"I saw this lad play when he was a scholar at Chelsea and thought he was an exceptional finisher but couldn't play.
"I was fascinated with his moves to various clubs and followed his progress but never thought he was good enough for the Premier League.
"What I've seen so far this season from him only increased my curiosity. His hat-trick against Aston Villa on Friday won my respect and admiration.
"Goals two and three were top-class finishes but his willingness to work for the team has left me mesmerised. I have deliberately resisted selecting Bamford for my Team of the Week because I wasn't sure about him. I am now."
