Two Leeds United fixtures moved and one risking postponement in latest Premier League reshuffle

Two Leeds United fixtures have been moved in the latest Premier League reshuffle with one at peril of being postponed altogether. Chelsea’s visit to Elland Road has been pushed back from its Saturday 3pm slot and scheduled for noon on Sunday, April 17.

However, with the Blues still in FA Cup contention and an eminently winnable tie with Middlesbrough on the horizon this weekend, there is every chance they don’t travel to West Yorkshire at all. FA Cup semi-final weekend is currently in the books across April 16 and 17.

The Whites could be faced with a two-week break between their Watford and Crystal Palace trips next month if Thomas Tuchel’s side did progress to the final four. The midweek slot immediately after that Chelsea date is already occupied for the Londoners, who face Arsenal on April 20.

Manchester City’s trip to Elland Road is far less in peril. The champions’ visit on Saturday, April 30 has also been pushed back, but only as far as 5.30pm on the same day.
