Two lanes of the M50 were blocked following a crash near the Red Cow junction this afternoon.
The motorway was temporarily blocked northbound at Junction 9 shortly after 2pm.
Dublin Fire Brigade raced to the scene and worked to clear the accident.
They tweeted: "We're currently attending a road traffic collision on @m50dublin
"J9 Red Cow Northbound. Two lanes temporarily blocked (2&3). Delays on approach."
All lanes of the motorway were reopened shortly before 3:30pm.
