Two killed as dumper rolls into gorge in Jammu & Kashmir's Ramban

JAMMU: At least two persons were killed after a dumper they were travelling in rolled into a gorge in Jammu and Kashmir's Ramban district on Saturday.

According to police, "This morning, a dumper (JK 22B 9290) at around 5am met with an accident at Panchal village in Ukheral in Ramban district's Ramsoo area.

"Two persons on board in the vehicle died in the mishap," they said.

The deceased have been identified as Tariq Hussain (driver), son of Mohd Hussain of Ramban, and Suneet Singh, son of Dawlat Ram of Kunchi-Ukhral.

"We have retrieved the bodies from the accident site and handed over the same to the families after legal formalities," they added.
