Two kids seen strapped into toy car on roof of moving vehicle in pouring rain

Two children were spotting sitting in a toy car strapped on top of a moving vehicle in the pouring rain.

Video taken by another driver captures the two youngsters sitting a few feet above the ground in a white mini SUV toy car.

It was mounted on top of a real white Ford.

The bizarre scene was filmed on the streets of the municipality of Zapopan in western Mexican.

A person can be heard saying in the background: "There are two of them."

As the camera zooms in, it reveals a larger child wrapping an arm around the younger one.

The Department of Communications of the Public Security Secretary of the State of Jalisco told local media that they will act against the driver of the vehicle carrying the kids, but so far no-one has been arrested.

The driver was taking the children onto the streets under rainy weather conditions (CEN)

Netizens were shocked at the video, such as ‘ismmayra’, who commented: “Such irresponsible parents, and the authorities are not acting before the kids could suffer a traffic accident.”

And ‘ricardolope6633’ added: “Poor kids, shame on the parents.”

While ‘Elcavayero’ said: “I would have stopped in front of the car, taken the kids down and called the police.”
