Two kids in hospital and woman fighting for life after horror crash on major Scots road

Two kids are in hospital and a woman is fighting for life after being involved in a one vehicle car crash on a major Scots road.

Emergency services rushed to the scene on the A86 in Tulloch, Perth and Kinross at around 9.30am on Tuesday November 3.

The two children were taken to hospital for treatment to minor injuries, according to Police Scotland, while the woman was left in a life-threatening condition.

The road was closed in both directions, just east of Moy Lodge as of 10.15am, according to Traffic Scotland.

It remained shut in between Spean Bridge and Laggan as accident investigation work was undertaken for several hours.

Traffic was diverted through Inverness and the A86 was finally reopened at 5.30pm.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We were called at around 9.30am on Tuesday, 3 November to reports of a crash involving one car on the A86 in Tulloch. Emergency services attended.

"A woman was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. Two children were taken to hospital with minor injuries.

"Enquiries are ongoing."
