Two key players have eased Mikel Arteta's main dilemma during Arsenal transformation

Arsenal have been on a great run of form since the September international break, as the club are currently on a seven Premier League game unbeaten run with it not looking likely to end anytime soon.

This run was continued by an impressive victory against Leicester at the King Power Stadium where the Gunners came out 2-0 winners and kept a clean sheet in the process.

Arsenal’s youngsters Emile Smith Rowe and Bukayo Saka played a big part in this win and have helped turn the north London side's fortunes around.

They have also lifted the burden on big-money signings who have been struggling so far.

In Arsenal’s most impressive games this season against Spurs, Aston Villa and Leicester, Saka and Smith Rowe have started on the wing.

In all three of those games, at least one of them has contributed to a goal which is a major reason why we find ourselves on this unbeaten run.

Before the September international break, Mikel Arteta struggled to find a system that would help with the attacking fluidity, however, this has been solved by placing the youngsters in wide positions.

On the nine-game unbeaten streak in which the Gunners are on, 17 goals have been scored with 12 of these coming in the Premier League.

Saka and Smith Rowe have contributed to eight of the 12 league goals, showing just how important they are to the attacking phase of play.

It is also a relief that these two are performing as it has eased the burden off Arsenal’s expensive signings who are currently at a loss of form.

Record signing Nicolas Pepe has had a poor start to the season as he is yet to score a Premier League goal which has resulted in him losing his place in the side.

Despite Martin Odegaard’s impressive start to the season after signing for the club in a £30 million deal from Real Madrid, he has struggled after the October international break which also resulted in him losing his place in the side.

The Hale End boys keep going from strength to strength and are at the moment, the first names on the team sheet as their attacking presence is crucial.

The ceiling is in the sky for both of the academy products as it looks as though they are without a doubt, a certainty to reach legendary status within the club.
