Two Irishmen feature on Interpol’s Most Wanted List, it was revealed yesterday.
The international police organisation issued “red notices” for James Staurvik and Conor Vincent D’Monte to authorities around the world.
The pair were being sought internationally for extradition.

A red notice is a request to law enforcements worldwide to locate and provisionally arrest a person pending extradition, surrender or similar legal action.
Interpol’s website shows there are a total of 7,109 public red notices in circulation.
The Irish citizens on Interpol’s most wanted suspects list are at large across the globe and are wanted in connection with alleged murder/manslaughter and conspiracy to commit murder.
Dubliner Staurvik, 39, is wanted by police in the Netherlands over his alleged role in the murder of Dutch man Adam Sawaryn Radowslag, who was 31.
He was killed at his home in the town of Mijdrecht on October 7, 2011.
Staurvik became a prime suspect after several witnesses claim they saw the two men argue shortly before Mr Radowslag’s death.
His red notice gives details that he speaks both Irish and English.
D’Monte, 44, faces one count of first degree murder and three counts conspiracy to commit murder in Canada.
The Canadian, who is also an Irish national, was a fugitive for 11 years until his arrest in Puerto Rico last year. He had been living there for years under the alias Johnny Williams, volunteering for a charity and playing beach tennis almost daily.
He was known to have used at least four aliases during his time as on the run, and was also known to have had his tattoos removed in a bid to avoid detection.
He was wanted over his alleged role in the 2009 shooting of Kevin LeClair.
Sources said LeClair was a gangster in the organised criminal mob the Red Scorpions, who are based in British Columbia in Canada.
D’Monte, an alleged member of the feared United Nations gang, also faces charges of plotting to kill two other gang members.
