Two injured in horror crash after car flips into house in icy west London

A car flipped over and slammed into a house after a crash on an icy road in west London.

Firefighters cut one of the passengers out of the overturned car wreck after the collision in Shakespeare Avenue, Hayes at 9pm on Thursday.

Two people have been injured in the crash, police said.

They were both treated at the scene.

Neighbourhood Twitter page UB1UB2 posted the video saying: “Crazy scenes, car flipped over and collided into multiple vehicles and a home - emergency services are currently working on getting a trapped individual out of the car.”

A Met spokesman said: “Police were called to reports of a collision involving two cars on Shakespeare Avenue in Hayes.

“Officers attended and found an overturned car and damage to a building.

“Emergency services remain in attendance. Two people have been treated at the scene.”

The force said road closures are in place.
