Two ingredient healthy banana pancakes

Pancakes for breakfast are a must have at the weekend, but if you're maybe counting the calories why not try this recipe instead.

With just two ingredients, you can make this perfect healthy breakfast that tastes like a treat.

All you need is one ripe banana, two eggs and a non-stick pan to make these gluten and dairy free pancakes that are full of Vitamin B6.

Follow the simple steps below to try this tasty recipe:

1) Mash up your banana in a bowl and whisk your egg

2) Add the egg with the banana

3) Pour the mixture into a pan on a medium heat with a small amount of butter or oil

4) Cook for one minute and then flip onto the other side for another minute

These extremely simple pancakes will only take five minutes to prepare and make.

Why not add some nuts, dried fruit or chocolate chips into the mixture to pimp up your pancakes?
