Two people have been rushed to hospital after a motorcycle and bike crashed in Knowle.
Avon and Somerset police set up a cordon on a section of Connaught Road following the collision.
Both the motorbike rider and the cyclist have been taken to hospital.
A police spokesman said it was too early to confirm whether their injuries were life-threatening.
He said: "We were called to an RTC involving a motorcycle and push bike at 8pm on Connaught Road.
"Both people have been taken to hospital."
A large police presence remains at the scene this evening while the smash is cleared from the route.
Several residents have contacted Bristol Live about the incident.
One woman, who wished not to be named, said: "From my window I saw three marked cars and one unmarked, no idea how many are further down the road."
Another man said: "I was just entering my drive when I saw the police. I think it was a crash between two bikes."
