Two 'high-risk' missing girls, aged 12 and 14, may be in Manchester

Police believe two 'high-risk' missing schoolgirls may be in Manchester.

Katelan Coates, 14, and Olivia Makin, 12, have gone missing from Todmorden in West Yorkshire. Officers believe they are together.

Katelan is known to 'frequent Manchester and Liverpool'. She is described as a white female, who is of medium-build and has shoulder-length brown hair.

She was last seen wearing a beige top, with a black furry coat, black leggings and sunglasses, West Yorkshire Police said. Olivia is described as a white female, who has long, brown curly hair and was last seen wearing a black school uniform.

Officers shared pictures of the missing girls on social media last night (July 10) as part an appeal to find them. They also shared a picture of the pair together.

Anyone with information on their whereabouts is being urged to get in touch. Police can be contacted by calling 101 with log 1522 10/07/223, or 1649 10/07/23.
