Two Hells Angels bikies arrested over serious assault

Two members of the Hells Angels outlaw bikie club have been arrested over a serious assault in Melbourne's north earlier this year.

Police alleged 35-year-old Pascoe Vale man was assaulted by a gang of men at a licensed venue on Sydney Road in Brunswick on February 26.

The victim received serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Moreland detectives arrested a 35-year-old Lynbrook man and 25-year-old Cranbourne man after executing two search warrants early on Monday morning.

They were both charged with intentionally causing injury and affray.

Police said the Cranbourne man was also charged with possessing cannabis and possessing a prohibited weapon.

Both men have been bailed to appear at Melbourne Magistrates' Court on October 31.
