Two held while transporting marijuana: Aurangabad police

AURANGABAD: The crime branch of the city police intercepted a car and seized 8kg of high-quality marijuana in the wee hours of Thursday. Police have arrested two accused, including a private employee, while their two accomplices managed to flee.

The arrested accused have been identified as Anand Wakde (21), a driver by profession and Pravin Patil (19).

The car has been seized. An offence against the accused has been registered under relevant sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
