Two groups of young men were reportedly seen 'fighting with weapons' tonight (Tuesday) at Forest Fields. Police attended the scene earlier following reports, and have stayed there this evening to offer reassurance.
Reports were made to police after two groups of youths were seen fighting in Foxhall Road at 7.25pm. After reports that they were armed, specialist officers rushed to the scene.
Police say that some left the area on scooters and bikes. Officers remain at the scene tonight and they have asked any witnesses to come forward.

In a statement, Nottinghamshire Police said: "Officers were called to an altercation between two groups of young men in Foxhall Road at 7.25pm this evening (16 May).
"It was reported that the groups were seen fighting with weapons and police including specialist officers were deployed to the area. It is believed that some of those involved fled the scene on bikes and scooters."
Chief Inspector Neil Humphris said: "Officers remain in the area this evening and we ask local residents to be vigilant. Anyone with information, CCTV, or dashcam footage, should call 101 quoting incident 707 of 16 May."
