A man was injured after two groups fought outside a pub.
Police were called at around 6.30pm on Sunday to the "disturbance" involving two groups of men outside The Netherton pub on Church Road in Litherland.
Officers attended the scene, however it was reported those involved in the fight had left the scene.

Police searched the area but those who had reportedly been involved in the "disturbance" could not be found.
One man was found at the scene with an injury to his face, however he declined medical treatment.
CCTV and witness enquiries into the incident are ongoing and anyone with any information is asked to contact police.
Community Policing Inspector Ray Mavrakakis said: “Our local pubs should be places for us all to enjoy ourselves safely and we simply won’t tolerate such violence in our communities.
“If you were in the Netherton last night or in the Church Road area and witnessed anything or anyone suspicious, then please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
“Whether you come forward directly to us or anonymously, via Crimestoppers, tell us what you know and we will take action.”
