How many horses have died at the Grand National 2019?

Three horses have now been killed at the Grand National Festival this year.

Up For Review was fatally injured during Saturday's Grand National race after falling at the first fence.

TV cameras captured the tragic fall, with the horse, trained by Willie Mullins, looking visibly distressed. He is the first horse to die in the famous race since 2012.

The first horse to suffer a fatal accident at the meeting on Friday was Crucial Role, ridden by Harry Skelton, who fell during the Betway Mildmay Novices.

Later on the same day, Forest Des Aigles suffered an injury before jumping the second-last fence in the Randox Health Topham Handicap Chase.

Their deaths were the first at this year's festival.
