Two Georgia Bulldogs land on ESPN’s All-American Team

Two Georgia Bulldogs have made ESPN’s All-American team, giving UGA the third most All-Americans behind Clemson (four) and Alabama (three). Georgia will hope to end up with Clemson and Alabama in the College Football Playoff this season. Georgia’s two All-Americans are: left tackle Andrew Thomas and left guard Solomon Kindley. There’s no second or third All-American team for ESPN, so only the best made ESPN’s team.

The duo will help Georgia have one of the best offensive lines in the country this season. With depth at every position and several five-star recruits in the mix, Georgia’s offensive line will be a force to be reckoned with. The two biggest snubs for Georgia have to be safety J.R. Reed and kicker Rodrigo Blankenship. Both players are proven at the college level and make big-time plays when it matters the most.

The off-season is almost over for Georgia fans and college football fans alike. With Miami-Florida this Saturday football fans are so close. There’s only twelve days until Georgia travels to Nashville. Interestingly, Georgia will face Vanderbilt tight end Jared Pinkney in week one. Pinkney is an All-American and will present a match-up problem for Georgia’s linebackers and safeties.
