A pair of garages on an upmarket North London street has gone on sale for more than £1million - with the current top bid reportedly coming from a famous actor.
The garages are situated at the end of a row of semi-detached 1920s houses in leafy Highgate, just around the corner from Highgate Wood.
The area, home to the likes of Jude Law, Harry Styles and previously Jamie Olive, routinely sees semi-detached houses sell for more than £2m, MyLondon reports.
The garages are being marketed as an "extremely rare opportunity” because, while nothing special in themselves, they come with planning permission to tear them down and build a five-bedroom house on the site.
The sale is being managed by Letting and Sales Agents Benham and Reeves who told MyLondon they had already received 13 offers, the highest of which was £1.6million from a famous actor.

The buyer will need to pay for the new house to be built which Benham and Reeves estimates will cost an additional £2m-£2.5m.
The proposed final result, however, will be a 5200 square foot house with a value of £5million. Haringey Council has already approved the plans for a three-storey house with a garden and off-street parking to be built on the site.
This certainly isn't the first time garages have gone on sale for staggeringly large sums in London.
Back in December 2021, a garage was listed for £25,000 but advertised as a 'terraced house' on Rightmove; and in February last year a converted garage in Ealing was listed for £290k.
Semi-detached houses in the area cost an average of £2,231,765 according to Rightmove, with an overall average property price of £1,189,484.
