Two from Maharashtra get teachers’ award

MUMBAI: Two teachers from the state are among 44 recipients of the national teachers’ award of the ministry of education.

Khurshid Sheikh, from Gadchiroli zilla parishad school and Umesh Khose from the zilla parishad primary school in Osmanabad received the awards for 2021. They will be felicitated on Teachers’ Day on September 5 by President Ram Nath Kovind.
