Two of Henry VIII’s wives from hit musical SIX are set to star in the UK premiere of musical Be More Chill.
Renee Lamb and Millie O’Connell, who played Catherine of Aragon and Anne Boleyn in the original production of SIX, are announced among the cast for the London transfer.
Be More Chill, which comes to the Other Palace in February, is based on a novel of the same name by Ned Vizzini and the score was met with a Tony Award nomination when the show opened on Broadway earlier this year.
It tells a love story between a boy, a girl and a supercomputer inside the boy’s head trying to take over the world, with original music and lyrics by Joe Iconis and Joe Tracz.
Scott Folan and Blake Patrick Anderson will also be in lead roles, with Miracle Chance, Stewart Clarke, Eloise Davies, James Hameed, Miles Paloma, Christopher Fry and Eve Norris also cast.
Stephen Brackett directs the musical, with choreography by Chase Brock, set design by Beowulf Boritt, costumes by Bobby Frederick Tilley II, lighting by Tyler Micoleau, sound by Ryan Rumery and projection by Alex Basco Koch.
Be More Chill will run at the Other Palace from February 12-May 3 2020
