Two former pubs in Newport city centre are set to go up for sale next month.
The Courtybella Club on Cardiff Road will go on the market at online auction on June 8-10 with a guide price of £350,000.
The former social club has been closed since 2012, and is listed online as a "substantial freehold property" with a snooker room, bar area, office and skittles alley, toilets, courtyard to the rear and parking for 12 cars.
The second floor of the building was previously used as a two-bedroom flat and, according to the Rightmove listing by Paul Fosh Auctions, "lends itself to a number of uses.
"We have been advised that subject to the relevant planning consents this could include residential accommodation, as the Royal Gwent Hospital is nearby this would be a prime location for rental accommodation," they said.
Separately, the former Alexandra Inn on Commercial Road is also going up for auction on June 8-10 by Paul Fosh Auctions.
The four-storey property closed in 2018 and was sold at the time amid possible plans for accommodation. It has been on the market on a number of occasions and is listed for a cool guide price of £175,000.
It is described online as a "substantial freehold building which was formerly a public house.
"The property offers generous accommodation over four floors and would be good for a number of uses such as conversion to flats, HMO or part commercial/part residential (subject to necessary planning consents)," the listing says.
