Former Leeds United youngsters Kamil Miazek and Hugo Diaz have found new clubs.
Goalkeeper Miazek arrived at Leeds for a trial towards the end of 2017 and soon earned himself a contract to compete for the No.1 shirt with the likes of Kiko Casialla and Illan Meslier.
However, despite sitting the bench on over 20 occasions he never managed to make his debut for Marcelo Bielsa's side and was released without fan fair this past summer.
The 24-year-old has since struggled to find a new club but has been handed a lifeline by Dutch side Heerenveen, who have taken him on trial with a view to earning a deal.
Voetbal International quote the club’s technical manager, Gerry Hamstra, as saying: “It has been our wish to attract a second goalkeeper for some time. This trial period is a good way to see if we like the collaboration with Kamil.”
Diaz had slightly better fortunes while at Leeds. The versatile defender joined from Sliva SD in the summer of 2017 and impressed in the youth ranks, eventually becoming captain of the Under-23s.
The Spaniard managed to make his first team debut in a 3-1 defeat to Preston North End in 2018 and also accompanied the first team on the notorious pre-season tour of Myanmar.
However, Diaz would only go on to make one more appearance on the bench and never got on the pitch for the Whites again before being released in 2019. He joined Getafe's B side last summer and spent a year there before being released again.
Now the 23-year-old has joined Polish second tier side Korona Kielce and made his debut in a 1-0 victory this past weekend.
