FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. _ A 14-year-old and a 15-year-old were fatally shot inside a southwest Miami-Dade home by a friend who was playing with a gun, according to news accounts.
The shooting happened about 6:30 p.m. Monday in the area of West Mowry Drive and 17th Terrace near Homestead.
The two teens were visiting the home of a friend who was playing with a gun when it went off, officials told WSVN-Ch. 7.
One bullet killed both teenagers, Miami-Dade Police Detective Alvara Zabaleta told WPLG-Ch. 10.
A 15-year-old was taken into police custody after the shooting, the news reports said.
