Two EuroMillions players have failed to claim their huge prizes - totalling more than £5m

Two lottery players from the Westcountry have failed to claim their prizes, totalling more than £5 million.

A ticket holder from South Gloucestershire won £3,696,996.80p by matching five numbers and one lucky star in the October 8 EuroMillions draw.

Just four days earlier, a punter from Dorset netted £1,844,973.60p by matching the same combination of five numbers and one lucky star in the EuroMillions draw.

Neither of them has come forward yet to claim their wins.

The players have until April to request the money or they could lose it.

Four other players have only just over a month to claim £1 million each from the EuroMillions UK Millionaire Maker draw from mid-July.

The four winners, from Harrow, Southwark, Newcastle-under-Lyme and Northampton, have until January 15 to claim their winnings.

If the prizes are not claimed within 180 days of the draw date, they will go to National Lottery Projects.

They include health, education, sports and arts organisations.
