Two East Kilbride Village eateries have made the shortlist for a top gong.
Oiishi Japanese Restaurant and Zucca Ristorante Pizzeria are among 100 restaurants in Glasgow and the west in the running for the 2019 Restaurant Awards – Scottish Edition.
The black-tie event will take place on Monday, April 29, at the Glasgow Marriott Hotel where top restaurants from across Scotland will gather to find out who will take home the crown.
The top 100 restaurants, as voted for by the public, will receive a certificate of excellence. However, only 20 of them will get the trophies home.
A spokeswoman for The 2019 Restaurant Awards-Scottish Edition said: “These finalists represent the gold standard of the restaurants that operate in the country, whose lively atmosphere and fantastic skill can crown them winners.
“We would like to wish all the finalists the best of luck and we are looking forward to welcoming all our guests at the ceremony and celebrating the winners with them.”
