Two men have been arrested and charged in connection with the alleged attempted murder of a man in Renfrew.
Cops were called out to an alleged incident in the town's Paisley Road at around 2.30pm on Monday.
A 38-year-old man was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow for treatment to serious injuries.

Police said a 38-year-old man and 39-year-old man have been arrested over the alleged attack and are due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court later today.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Two men, aged 39 and 38, have been arrested and charged in connection with an attempted murder at a property on Paisley Road in Renfrew.
"The incident happened around 2.30pm on Monday. A 38-year-old man suffered serious injuries during the incident.
“Both are due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court today.”
