Two die in ultra-light plane crash in NSW Hunter region

Police are investigating the scene of the crash.

Two men have died after an ultra-light plane crashed in the New South Wales Hunter region.

The men are believed to be aged in their 40s and 70s but are yet to be formally identified.

Police were called to a property on Patterson Road in Woodville shortly after midday.

The Port Stephens-Hunter Police District has established a crime scene and is investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
