With temperatures nudging into the 20s, it is definitely summer in Ireland. It may not last long, so best make the most of it and what better way to do it than recipes involving sweet summer strawberries?
Clonee-based cookery school, Kids Cook, shared two delicious recipes - strawberry ice-cream and white chocolate and strawberry tarts - which are just the kind of treats we need right now.
Kids Cook co-founder Lisa said, "We are lucky enough to live down the lane from the fabulous Donnelly's strawberry farm, freshly picked and available from their vending machine same day. You can almost see the Vitamin C bursting out of them!
"Don't waste them, here a couple of recipes to use with fresh or slightly fading strawberries. If in doubt, bag them for the freezer and use for smoothies!"
