Two dead in overnight crash in Adelaide's north

Two men have died when a car and a motorcycle collided at Bolivar last night, police have said.

The crash happened at the intersection of Hodgson and Port Wakefield roads about 7:20pm on Sunday.

The 29-year-old motorcyclist from Burton and a passenger in the car, a 24-year-old from Noarlunga Downs, both died at the scene.

"Three people remaining in the car were taken to hospital as well," Senior Constable Kimberley Broad said.

"Two [of those] people did receive some minor injuries but they're not life-threatening."

Port Wakefield Road was closed to traffic last night causing major traffic problems but has since been reopened.

Police Major Crash investigators want anyone who witnessed the collision to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
