A man who allegedly lit a fire that killed a woman at a town camp near Alice Springs has also died of significant burns.
Northern Territory Police say the 36-year-old man died early on Saturday, six days after a woman succumbed to the significant injuries she sustained in the fire.
They were taken to hospital in a serious condition after emergency services were called to the blaze at a residence in the Hidden Valley town camp last Friday night.
Homicide detectives had been treating the fire as a domestic violence incident.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
