Two members of Brian Lohan's Clare hurling panel have been identified as close contacts of positive Covid-19 cases from last Sunday's thrilling National League clash with Wexford.
The Model County's dramatic comeback earned Davy Fitzgerald's men a one-point victory but it was later revealed that two members of the Wexford panel had tested positive.
It has now emerged that the HSE has informed two Clare players that they are close contacts to those positive cases.
Both were subsequently tested and are isolating, and Lohan will hold off on naming his team for the NHL clash with Laois on Sunday.
