Two children taken to hospital after being hit by car in Gregory Boulevard

Two children have been taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Gregory Boulevard.

The incident is being treated as a "serious" collision, police say, after the road was cordoned off from 2.30pm until around 4.25pm on Friday, April 19.

The two children were taken to hospital following the incident which happened on the junction with Alfreton Road.

No arrests have been made.

A Nottinghamshire Police spokesman said: "It was a serious road traffic collision where two children were hit by a car.

"We were called to reports of the crash at around 2.30pm. No arrests have been made and the road has now been reopened."
