Two young boys were rushed to hospital being hit by a car yesterday.
It is believed that the two boys, aged 6 and 12, were crossing the Andersonstown Road in Belfast when they were struck by a white Vauxhall Insignia on Saturday evening.
Belfast Live reports that both boys were rushed to hospital with broken bones shortly after the incident.
A PSNI spokeswoman said: "Both children sustained broken bones in their legs and are currently being treated in hospital.
"A 37-year-old man has been arrested. Officers are asking anyone who witnessed the collision but who has not yet spoken to police to please get in touch on 101, quoting reference 1497 05/10/19.
"The arrested man remains in custody at present."
