'Two children inside home' in Cabra, Dublin which was shot at overnight

Two children are believed to have been in a Dublin house which was shot at overnight.

Four people are understood to have been in the house in Cabra when the incident unfolded.

The bullets were blasted at the house at around 11.45pm on Sunday on St Attracta Road, Dublin Live reports.

An investigation has been launched, while no injuries have been reported. The scene remains cordoned off this morning as gardai carry out a forensic examination.

A garda spokeswoman said: "Gardaí are investigating an incident at a house in Cabra.  Shots were allegedly fired at a house on Attracta Rd, Cabra, D7 on the 22 September 2019 at approximately 11.45pm.

"Four occupants were in the house at the time. No injuries were reported and investigations are ongoing."
